Welcome to jonathancmeier.com, the personal website of Jonathan C. Meier, where you can read my novel Sunnyland. This isn’t a corporate data farm — it’s just an author sharing a story. Still, ad platforms (like Reddit) require a Privacy Policy, so here it is.

What Gets Collected

• Squarespace Analytics: My site runs on Squarespace, which automatically collects basic, anonymized visitor data (page views, traffic sources, device type, etc.). I see numbers, not names.

• Voluntary Info: If you subscribe, contact me, or donate, I only see the info you choose to provide (like your email).

What I Don’t Do

• I don’t sell or rent your data.

• I don’t share your information with advertisers.

• I don’t install extra trackers beyond what Squarespace uses by default.

About Cookies

Squarespace may use cookies to help the site function and to provide those traffic stats. If you’d rather not have cookies, you can disable them in your browser settings — the site will still work.

Why This Exists

Because even small, personal sites need to publish one to advertise. Ironically, that says a lot about the world Sunnyland is written for: information always has rules.
